A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC),Department of Laboratory Medicine (DLM) intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price service maintenance agreement, with Illumina Inc, for Preventive Maintenance service as support for NextSeq 200 Sequencing system. The Department of Laboratory Medicine is expanding the core for molecular testing and it is critical that the already procured Illumina NextSeq 550 is covered by a full service maintenance agreement for proper operation and timely support in case of instrument malfunction. Includes parts, labor, travel for technical engineer Reagent replacement upon HW failures Remote Technical Support 18x5; 2 business day on-site response target. Continuation of maintenance is required by the original manufacturer (IlluminaInc.) and it is therefore deemed to be in the Government’s best interest that this service is procured from them. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
