A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), Department of Perioperative Medicine (DPM) intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price for Ultrasound Virtual module services. The SonoSim software will allow the members of DPM to gain and improve their diagnostic and procedural point of care skills. Allowing to simulate live patient imaging and procedures, gaining experience on both normal and abnormal pathology, represent an ideal mode of training for the Department The purpose of this correspondence is to request a PO to purchase An Ultrasound Module training System. This request serves as a critical function to the daily operations and without it the staff will not be able to care for the Surgery, this expand and improve the diagnostic and procedural point of care ultrasound skills in DPM This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
