A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC),Critical Care Medicine Department (CCMD) intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price Reagent Supplies, with Meso Scale Diagnostics. Meso Scale Inc reagent supplies and it was been used for more than 10 years. To get consistent and reproducible results for comparison with projects we need to use these reagents, otherwise we will incur in additional expenses and research time for validation, re-testing and data comparison. The reagents is for COVID 19 Protocol Studies at the Clinical Center patients.. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
