The total estimated number of tests is around 200 annually. 3) Are these research-use only cases or intended to also be made available for clinical care? If a mix, can you provide anticipated research vs. clinical volume? These genetic testing results will be made available in the patient’s medical record and all NIH providers taking care of the patient will have access to them. There is no way to predict how the results will be used by various NIH providers once they are located in the patient’s permanent medical record, unless the vendor indicates that a specific test result is not validated for clinical care. In that case, the providers would only be able to use it for research purposes. 4) For germline sequencing validated or RUO? Respondent should indicate whether their germline sequencing is validated or RUO.

This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE is to determine the availability of potential small businesses (e.g., 8(a), service -disabled veteran owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, veteran -owned small businesses, and women-owned small businesses), who are able to provide offsite comprehensive molecular diagnostic testing for a one year base period and four additional option periods that shall include the capability to provide electronic ordering and secure transfer of test results into the patient’s NIH medical record. The contractor shall provide various testing in at least 7 of the 10 categories listed below: 1. Exome sequencing 2. Genome Sequencing 3. Gene panels 4. Pharmacogenetic genotypring 5. Targeted analysis (singe and multiple variants) 6. Hereditary cancer syndromes 7. Mitochondrial disorders 8. Sanger Sequencing validation 9. Somatic mutation testing 10.
