ATSDR intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to the ALS Association to promote and enroll patients into the National ALS Registry through outreach, education, and awareness activities. Services include facilitating patient computer access to the registry web portal, providing educational materials, and using social media, targeting persons with ALS, families, caregivers, and researchers. Performance will occur across a specified set of states, including Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, the Sacramento area of California, Florida, and numerous others. The ALS Association is uniquely qualified due to its national clinical infrastructure, credentialing authority, research engagement, and established patient and provider relationships.
