Notice of Intent to Sole Source a Thermo Orbitrap Fusion Lumos and Thermo RSLCnano UPLC Maintenance Agreement
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for an annual maintenance agreement for a specific mass spectrometer and nano-UPLC system. The work is intended for Thermo Electron North America LLC, as they are considered the only available vendor capable of servicing these proprietary instruments. The anticipated period of performance is from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028. While this is a notice of intent and not a formal request for competitive quotes, the government will consider responses received within 15 days of the notice's issuance. Any responses should be directed to the specified Contracting Officer via email.
