The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole-source contract to Bruker Scientific, LLC for yearly maintenance service on a LabScape Complete MALDI BioTyper system. The period of performance is one year. The justification for the sole-source award is that Bruker Scientific is the manufacturer and the only available source for this specific maintenance. Firms that believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves in writing to the Contracting Officer within 10 days of the synopsis publication. Any information received will be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
