The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has the intent to award a sole source firm fixed price service contract to Interfax Systems Inc. 6185 Tomken Rd. Unit 11 Mississauga Ontario, ON. The Detectus EMC-Scanner is a powerful tool to measure and analyze the electromagnetic characteristic of electronic devices. The scanner detects electromagnetic waves emitted by the devices under test and then analyze the signals to determine the frequency, amplitude, and other characteristics of the emission. The EM scanner can operate in the frequency range up to 3GHz. It can generate visualized image for the full device at any frequency, which enables us to quickly identify the EMI hotspots on the device, the strongest emission frequencies, etc. It also supports almost all industrial/commercial spectrum analyzers. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
