The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 1600 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta Georgia, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Swift / Integrated DNA Technologies., to support the SARS-CoV-2 variant surveillance. An urgent need has arose for immediate implementation of next generation sequencing surveillance across the United States. One part of the entire surveillance is a program where all 50 states plus all territories send 1500 samples every 2 weeks to CDC for next generation sequencing. GSL in BCFB has developed a pipeline for this variant surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 positive samples. Part of the pipeline is the utilization of the Swift BioSciences / Integrated DNA Technologies' custom reagents for SARS-CoV-2. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within nine (9) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
