The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requires that a Study be performed to find a suitable Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Historian for the Building Automation System (BAS) for all CDC campuses. Due to lack of support and advancements in technology, the current HMI and Historian need to be updated to maintain essential operations as part of the process to modernize the CDC’s BAS. The purpose of this project is to compare and evaluate both HMI and Historian products based on the needs of CDC and submit recommendations for a new and/or updated CDC-wide HMI and Historian for the BAS. The selected HMI and Historian shall encourage full and open competition by providing support for BACnet devices from many different vendors. The intent is for the finished product to be non-proprietary in nature and support open integration and open protocols. Use attached Question and Answer form if needed. All questions and requests shall be submitted and/or completed on or before April 19, 2022.
