The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source modification to the National Opinion Research Center under an existing contract for non-cloud-based data services from NORC’s Amerispeak. This modification will increase the quantity of survey participants under the xisting contract. NORC is the only responsible source capable of providing a non-cloud-based data solution to produce non-aggregated data from a recruited, nationally-representative panel of survey participants with results that are comparable with existing NCHS data. The government is not aware of any other business that can perform this work using a non-cloud based solution. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). Interested entities may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
