The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition (OAS), intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1), to The Dash Group 3162 Johnson Ferry Road, #260-906 Marietta, GA 30062 to procure services for Assessment and Analysis of CDC Global Leadership Capacity and Organizational Health & Recommendations for CDC Global Leadership Development Strategy. The Dash Group has previously worked within CGH and is a known vendor to CDC University (CDCU), and continuing to utilize them for these assessments would ensure critical continuity in the leadership development trajectory. Given the level of leadership capacity being required of CDC’s country office leadership during the COVID pandemic, it is imperative that their leadership development needs be understood in detail and systematically addressed as soon as possible. Notably, the Dare to Lead accreditation is exceptionally rare due to its relatively recent arrival within the leadership development sphere and the exceptionally demanding criteria for eligibility to gain accreditation to train on this material. Therefore, it is not in the best interest of the Government to use a different vendor as it would cause harm (financial and otherwise) that would not be reasonable. No request for quote will be issued based upon this notice of intent. This synopsis ends in 3 days in accordance with FAR 5.203 (a)(1). Please include reference number (2021-58623) and respond by August 10, 2021 at 4 PM EST. Responses received will be considered for future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
