The Centers for Disease Control and Chronic Viral Disease Branch, Division of High Consequence Pathogens and Pathology, National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to Web MD Health Corp/Medscape.; 111 Eighth Ave, New York, NY 10011-5201. Medscape has the copyright for the three courses that we plan to recertify for Year-3 continuing education credits. The courses included the Roundtable Spotlight CME course developed in 2021, and two other courses developed in 2020 under GSATask Order GS02F0034W. The Year-3 certification will allow for more healthcare providers to provide effective management and treatment to patients with ME/CFS.As long COVID increasing, educating healthcare providers about ME/CFS is morecritical than ever. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
