The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources to perform a potential contract requirement. Purpose and Objective: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking potential suppliers for a fluorescent microscope to maintain and detect various hepatitis viruses infection studies in cell culture system. The microscope is needed for easy checking on cells for confluency and seeding. The microscope needs to have various magnifications (1.25x - 100x) with at least 4 fluorescent channels. Fluorescence is needed for infections, transfections, and inoculations related experiments. Stage is suited for dark room like condition, but it could be used in a regular room for fluorescence imaging. Due to space limitations, simple and compact microscope is needed. The microscope needs to be a standalone with touch screen and not required the use of a computer or monitor for operation. Responses: Interested parties believing that they offer for sale items as described above are invited to submit a response to this notice. Please submit the following information: 1.
