The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisitions, intend to award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1), to Bangkok Engineering & SCI Limited Partnership, 7/1 Moo 8, Tumbon Lumpho, Amphur Bangbuathong, Nonthaburi 11110, Thailand, to purchase HEPA filters and the BAKER SterilGARD III Biological Safety Cabinet Class II equipment for the CDC Division for Global Health Protection (DGHP) laboratory in Thailand. Bangkok Engineering & SCI Limited Partnership is the only distributor in Thailand that can provide the brand of HEPA filters that are required for the existing biosafety cabinets. There are no other vendors that can provide this equipment in Thailand. No request for quote will be issued based upon this notice of intent. This synopsis ends on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 5 PM EST in accordance with FAR 5.203 (a)(1). Please include reference number (2021-53521) and respond by the stated date and time. Any interested companies are welcome to submit their ability to provide the specified products via email to yvz3@cdc.gov. Responses received will be considered for future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
