The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source, cost reimbursable follow-on contract to the Institute for Social Research, Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) under the Univerisity of Michigan, for the acquisition of Services. The purpose of the proposed work is to continue the data curation, sharing and archiving support services started on the prior contract. This intent to sole source is being made on the grounds of continuity of the project, past knowledge, and compatibility. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submission of their Capability Statement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses should be emailed to Contracting Officer at oga5@cdc.gov by 8:00 a.m. EST on January 29, 2021.
