The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisitions, intend to award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1), to Eppendorf (Thailand) Co., Ltd., 5 Soi Krungthepkreetha 4, Huamark, Bangkapi, Bangkok 10240, to purchase the Eppendorf 5073m Automated Liquid Handling System for the CDC DGHP laboratory in Thailand. Eppendorf (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is the only distributor in Thailand that can meet both specification requirements as well as provide local high speed repair service, Thai speaking engineers, and meet Thailand licensing requirements. There are no other vendors that can provide this equipment in Thailand. No request for quote will be issued based upon this notice of intent. This synopsis ends on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 4 PM EST in accordance with FAR 5.203 (a)(1). Please include reference number (2020-49645) and respond by the stated date and time.
