The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisitions, intend to award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1), to Design Reality Limited, 81 Bowen Court St, Asaph Business Park, St. Asaph, Denbighshire, LL17 0JE, to purchase a set of five standard RPD head forms and two ISO torsos for the CDC National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL) laboratory. Design Reality Limited is the only distributor that can provide head forms and torsos to the appropriate specification and durability while maintaining consistency with existing equipment in the laboratory. There are no other vendors that can provide this equipment. No request for quote will be issued based upon this notice of intent. This synopsis ends on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 4 PM EST in accordance with FAR 5.203 (a)(1). Please include reference number (2020-47480) and respond by the stated date and time. Any interested companies are welcome to submit their ability to provide the specified products via email to qlc3@cdc.gov. Responses received will be considered for future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
