This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of Chronic Viral Diseases Branch (CVDB) Roybal Campus B23, Rm 4-410, H23-4 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Atlanta, GA 30333. CVDB has a requirement of MSD technology that allows for high-throughput and sensitive electrochemiluminescent detection of multiple analytes in a single well. The specialized plates have an electrical grid on the underneath of the plate that makes it compatible with the MSD imagers in the laboratory. The company does not sell bare multi-spot plate as it is impossible to spot the minute volumes required (nanoliters) in the laboratory without specialized robotics. Printing at the MSD facility assures high accuracy and reproducibility of the multiple analytes that are imperative for standardized HPV serological assays. Printing will be performed using HPV proteins produced in our lab and sent to MSD. The intended recipient of this purchase order is Meso Scale Discovery, 9238 Gaither Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20877. This order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice and/or submitting proposals.
