This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of NIOSH/DSR/PTB 1095 Willowdale Rd M/S-G800 Morgantown, WV 265050 .PTB has a requirement of On-site Installation and Training for F170. The Stratasys F170 3D printer is the only known “low touch” 3D printer that can print with Fast prototyping PLA, hard and durable ABS with soluble support, Hard and durable UV resistant ASA with soluble support and Flexible TPU-92A with soluble support. Additionally, the Stratasys 3D printer is the only 3D printer identified with an extended warrantee that provides on-site maintenance support with additional maintenance support packages available. Computer Aided Technology, Inc. was identified as the only distributor authorized by the manufacturer to sell the F170 Stratasys 3D printer to NIOSH in Morgantown, WV. The intended recipient of this purchase order is Computer Aided Technology 165 North Arlington Heights Road Suite 101 Buffalo Grove, IL, 60089-1783. This order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice and/or submitting proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive responses; however, all proposals received within 7 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
