The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Integrated Healthcare Auditing & Services, Inc., 12209 Torrey Pines Terrace, Beltsville, MD, 20705-1160 based on their specialized knowledge and experience in case management services and audits of hospital and physician invoices for services rendered to enrolled clients over the past 3+ years for The Tuskegee Health Benefit Program (THBP). Integrated Healthcare Auditing & Services, Inc. is able to ensure that THBP clients receive clinically appropriate, medically necessary, and cost-effective services and any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the government, which is not expected to be recovered through competition. This contract action is for services in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within Three (3) days of the issuance of this notice, in accordance with FAR 5.203(1), will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/response should be emailed to the contract specialist at efi6@cdc.gov by July 31, 2020 by 8:00AM EST. Submission Instructions: The subject line of the email shall be “Case Management and Auditing Services Contract for Tuskegee Health Benefit Program ". The response must clearly show the ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the requirement causing no programmatic hardship. The response must clearly show the information requested in relation to the objectives and requirements outlined in the attached draft SOW, the current in-house capacity to perform the work, and to currently possess a key feature of this contract which is the following special requirements listed in the SOW. Vendors must show that they are capable to operate under the current special requirements and demonstrate that similar work has been performed in the past.
