This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Respiratory Health Division 1095 Willowdale Road Morgantown, WV 26505 (RHD). RHD has a requirement of Services to develop standards for generation and communication of electronic information associated with performing spirometry tests to facilitate communication between spirometry devices and users of spirometrydata in external systems, for example users of HL-7 compliant electronic health records, the NIOSH CWHSP , and users of SPIROLAsoftware. The intended recipient of this purchase order is Lamprey Networks, Inc. (LNI) 8 Jenkins Court, Suite 403 Durham, NH 03824. This order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice and/or submitting proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive responses; however, all proposals received within 7 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
