Pre-Solicitation Notice for Tuberculosis (TB) laboratory services to the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands (USAPI). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention, Division of Tuberculosis Education (NCHHSTP/DTE) has a requirement for a 5-year (base year plus 4 option periods), Firm-Fixed-Priced, Performance Based contract for Tuberculosis (TB) laboratory services to the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands (USAPI) to improve TB control and prevention. This contract will support CDC’s mission to fight disease before it reaches our borders by providing the USAPI with TB laboratory test results and training needed to accurately diagnose TB patients and prescribe appropriate medication. CDC will also use results to provide medical consultation and technical assistance to the USAPI TB programs. This requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis as full and open competition. The CDC expects a single award of a Firm-Fixed-Priced, 5-year (12 -month base plus four 12-month options) contract.
