This is a presolicitation notice for Wellness and Fitness Center Staffing and Wellness and Fitness Program Management Services. This notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this notice. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has a requirement for wellness and fitness program services. This contract will support CDC’s mission to improve the overall wellness of NIOSH employees through increased cardiovascular conditioning, muscular strength, endurance and flexibility, and positive lifestyle changes; and to provide the opportunity, motivation and tools for self-improvement. The contractor shall be responsible for the operations of the onsite wellness center at the NIOSH Spokane. The wellness center has a full line of resistance equipment, stationary bicycles, treadmills, and other miscellaneous equipment. The contractor shall provide staffing to assist in manning the wellness and fitness center. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating and scheduling fitness classes and distributing questionnaire/waivers for users of the on-site exercise facilities to determine their appropriateness for beginning an exercise program and using the exercise facilities as well as provide quarterly seminars and/or lunch and learn sessions. This will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The CDC expects a single award of a Firm-Fixed-Priced, 5-year (12 -month base, plus four 12-month options) contract. Contractors must have active SAM.gov account at time proposals are due to be considered for award.
