CDC is synopsizing a proposed Contract Action in Accordance with FAR 5.201 for the sole-source procurement of commercial maintenance services on specialized laboratory equipment. The Contract number and determination of the Line Item numbers have not been finalized. The intended source is Tech One Biomedical Services in order to maintain consistency and continuity of services during the conduct of current research projects. It is anticipated that a competitive acquisition will be conducted in FY21. Responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. There is no set-aside status. Interested parties should submit a request to ins4@cdc.gov by 1 PM EDT on June 30, 2020. The Maintenance agreement is for a comprehensive plan that includes parts, labor, travel and preventative maintenance of five Lab Vision 360 2D Autostainers. Service for these instruments during the one year necessary to complete current projects is estimated to be less than $50,000. The Autostainers are located at the Roybal Campus of CDC in Atlanta, Georgia. It is anticipated that the award will be issued on or before July 7, 2020
