The primary objective of this contract is to provide estimates of the economic burden of health disparities by race/ethnicity and socioeconomic status (SES) for 2017 – 2018, or using the most recent data available, for the nation and all US states, and in geographic areas more granular than state levels. Specifically, the economic burden will include medical expenditures, productivity loss, and burden due to premature death.
