The request for information (RFI) is to obtain a large volume (>75 million individuals or larger) of deidentified, patient-level, real world, national coverage (including data from all 50 states, District of Columbia, and, ideally, U.S. territories) healthcare data that is interoperable and can be linked across medical and pharmacy claims (including both open and closed systems), hospital chargemaster data, electronic medical record (EMR), and laboratory data from different data sources, at the patient-level using privacy-preserving record linkage (PPRL). Optimally, the data shall be representative of the health events captured in the data of the U.S. population at the national and regional level (and ideally at the sub-regional level) or the data shall have weights that can be applied to transform the data to be representative.
