The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC),Critical care Medicine Department (CCMD) intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price service maintenance agreement on the Philips TC70 Page writer Cardiograph device that is critical for obtaining electro Cadiographic waveforms to determine the presence of potentially fatal in critically ill patients. The service includes, full repair coverage with no cap for all contracted equipment and on-site repair of units that is available only Monday- Friday from 8:00am through 5:00pm This synopsis does not constitute a request for proposals and quotes The proposed vendor, Philips Healthcare is a selected vendor who has been provided the sought information for several years with great success to performs the services throughout the Clinical Center who potentially reversible medical problems, without proper functioning of this device healthcare providers may not be able to diagnose the problems of the patients and it will cause life threatening condition. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures as stated in Far 12 and under FAR 6.302-1. The period of performance is 12 months with an option of up to two (2) one year option periods. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in preparation of information or documents related to this notice, the determination of the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government.
