This Contract is to procure nationwide evidence storage, transport and destruction support services for one, three-month base period and one, one-month optional period. The procedures in FAR subpart 13.5 were used in accordance with the authority of 41 U.S.C.,1901(a) (2) to avoid interruption of services .The FDA/OCI has utilized the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) IDIQ for the last nine years to transport, store and dispose of evidence seized in OCI cases. The Contract number is DJA10D000015 with the VSE Corporation. The services received under this contract are of paramount importance because they support critical chain of custody and evidence requirements for ongoing OCI investigations and active legal proceedings. The scope of this contract is for the contractor to provide personnel and support to store, transport, destroy and provide reporting on evidence seized as part of OCI criminal investigations. The required support is required throughout the United States. The Contract was awarded to VSE Corpration, 6348 Walker Lane, Alexandria, VA 22310-3226 on March 30, 2021 for $239,369.88, under Contract Number: 75F40121C00032 with the Food and Drug Administration.
