This RFI is being issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research. It is for information, planning and market research purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses to this RFI will be utilized for a potential solicitation for a single award commercial item contract or GSA Schedule task order. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Regulatory Affairs, Office of Human and Animal Food Operations (ORA/OHAFO), must provide training to the Consumer Safety Officer (CSO) Investigators to meet the priorities of the New Era of Smarter Food Safety. It is mission critical that CSO Investigators are trained to align with this FDA initiative. Please see attached RFI for full details.
