National Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Biorepository’s Augmentation of ALS Samples for Researchers through an Established External Repository
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Temple University ALS Postmortem Core to augment a national ALS biorepository for researchers. The work involves the dissemination and collection of high-quality ALS tissue samples to advance research in risk factors, genetics, and biomarkers. The primary period of performance is from 05/01/2026 through 04/30/2027, with four one-year option periods. The contractor must be a nationally recognized center with extensive experience providing a comprehensive repository of ALS and control tissues to global research laboratories. While this is a notice of intent for a sole-source award, the government will consider responses from other interested and capable parties.
