The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)1600 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta Georiga 30341 intends to sole source; in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has the intent to award a sole source firm fixed price service contract to AB Diagnostic Systems, 12487 Berlin Gernany. The North American Industry Classification System code is 325413. The purpose of this procurement is to purchase the following products: Qty - 280 Kits - abia HEV IgG enzyme immunoassay for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies to hepatitis E virus (HEV) in human serum or plasma The abia HEV IgG enzyme immunoassay is for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies to hepatitis E virus (HEV) in human serum or plasma.This instrument is also fast and easy to use. These abilities have made this instrument the market leader for detection. It is the instrument used and recommended by CDC’s biotechnology core facility. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
