The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to The NFL Alumni Association (NFLA). The overall purpose of this contract is to facilitate collaboration among NFL Alumni and federal, state, and local public health officials, as well as other local leaders, to address vaccine hesitancy, through communication and engagement with communities less likely to get vaccinated. The CDC Vaccine Task Force will work directly with the NFLA to promote community-level and national COVID-19 education, outreach, and vaccination acceptance. This is a class Justification & Approval (J&A) in accordance with FAR § 6.303-1(d) and 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency, FAR § 8.405-6(a)(1)(A), Limiting Sources, and FAR § 16.505(b)(2)(i)(A), Exceptions to the Fair Opportunity Process for all contract actions to facilitate the recovery efforts necessary to address the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Interested parties may identify their interest and submit documentation of their capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
