The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Carithers-Wallace-Courtenay, Llc for a logical follow-on to a contract to purchase installation of 29 workstations. This product is required to match existing in style, type and color to provide a fileable and interchangeable workspaces. This is a logical follow-on order to maintain compatibility with existing hoteling Cubicles. Furniture on this order matches and augments standards for Building 106 / 2nd floor - Chamblee campus. This is the only Contractor that makes the furniture that is interchangeable with the existing systems furniture. Installation is by the manufacturer’s certified installers to maintain warranties. Office Images is the dealer of record for CDC identified by the Furniture Manufacturer. It is necessary that the items being acquired from the particular source be compatible and interchangeable with existing product since existing product is being reused to the maximum extent possible. This contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within eleven (11) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
