The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Perfinity Biosciences, Inc. for the following: Forty (40) Perfinity Workstation trypsin columns characterized and optimized for fast on-line tryptic digestion of lipid samples in CDC's Apolipoprotein quantitation method to support existing Perfinity on-line digestion and LC-MS/MS systems. The Perfinity digestion buffer is optimized to work with the Perfinity trypsin columns for a highly efficient digestion while providing higher peptide recovery. The Perfinity trypsin columns are capable of a fast sample trypsin digest at 50°C while functioning optimally during analytical analysis of an average of 2000 injections per week. Columns must be compatible with CDC's existing fully automated on-line system and be stable up-to 50 C-degree temperature and withstand high pressure. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This is a notice of award and is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This notice will expire on 12:00 pm on February 18, 2021.
