Fifty (50) Perfinity Workstation trypsin columns used in apolipoprotein digestion to support existing Perfinity on-line digestion and LC-MS/MS systems. Columns must be compatible with our existing fully automated on-line system and be stable up-to 50 C-degree temperature and withstand high pressure . The long-term ruggedness of our lipoprotein measurement method relies on the stable quality of the trypsin columns. Materials from other vendors would potentially disrupt the continuous operation and cause delay in achieving CDC goals. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Perfinity Biosciences, Inc. Justification of the capability required is provided on the sole source justification document. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
