The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Ricoh Americas Corporation., 70 Valley Stream Parkway , Malvern, PA, 19355-1407, for maintenance, including service and supplies (excluding paper) and unlimited black and white and color copies for three (3) Ricoh MP C4503G Digital Imaging Systems, Serial Numbers C83193169, C83193168 and C83193167. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency’s requirements because this is the only service that can meet the requirements for maintenance because anyone other than Ricoh authorized personnel attempting to repair or service the equipment would exclude Ricoh from their obligations. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
