The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to Cayman Chemical Company, Inc. for the design, manufacture, distribution, and laboratory support of the new Emergent Drug Panel-Version 2 (EDP-V2) Kit, as well as continued distribution and support for existing EDP Kit products. The anticipated period of performance is September 30, 2026 through September 29, 2027, with four option years for additional kit design, manufacture, and distribution. The contractor will produce cGMP-compliant reference materials for emerging synthetic opioids and related drugs, maintain DEA registration for distribution to CDC-approved laboratories, provide technical/customer support, report distribution metrics, and conduct stability testing. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations, but interested vendors may submit evidence of their capability for consideration by the government.
