The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of HIV Prevention (DHP)/Laboratory Branch (LB) has a requirement for Research Laboratory Animal Veterinary Technician Support Services. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is 75D301-24-Q-78240. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), in accordance with the terms of FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items of and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. (iii) The solicitation document/incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular: FAC 2023-04, dated 05/22/2024. (iv) The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541940 –Veterinary Services; Small Business Size Standard is $24.5M. PROCUREMENT REQUEST: The CDC is in need of two lab technicians to preform veterinary tech services including but not limited to administering antiretroviral drugs to nonhuman primates.
