The Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab) is seeking industry input on possible costs and schedules for different types of magnets destined for the Electron Ion Collider (EIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). Magnet coils will be procured based on either drawing design or technical specifications. This request for information (RFI) is an early step to engage industry partners before any formal request for proposals (RFP) is released. The goal is to gather feedback on strategy, specifications, and supporting documentation as they are finalized. Performance of the resulting work would be at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
