The objective of this work effort is to supply Acquisition Services (NREL’s procurement team) with a consistent source of actionable, timely information on the Lab’s most essential purchasing categories. This information shall include, but not be limited to, average product lead times, any major developments in industry status, and changes in cost. To this end, the Alliance, as the Prime Contractor to the DOE, is seeking a subcontractor that will partner with the Alliance to provide up-to-date information on lead times, industry insight, and cost for a wide variety of industries and products, including computer parts, laboratory supply equipment, compressed gases, and chemicals. These reports will be supplied to Acquisition Services’ category managers, who will use this information to make better informed decisions on purchasing.
