Each year more than 40,000 visitors travel to the NREL campus. Last year, more than 13,800 of those visitors requested private tours of the campus, which were supported by NREL’s Communication Office.... Last year, more than 13,800 of those visitors requested private tours of the campus, which were supported by NREL’s Communication Office. Often those tours require transportation between buildings on the main campus (South Table Mountain [STM]), to/from nearby hotels, between the STM Campus and our Flatirons Campus in Arvada, or to/from other locations in the Denver metro area. Provide charter services for tours or other NREL-sponsored activities on the STM Campus, Flatirons Campus, or to nearby off-site locations. Charter service requests typically vary between 5 and 35 passengers, but occasionally requests for 60+ passengers are received. Charter service requests range from once a week to five or more requests per week.
