This request does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this request is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes only. ***** Request for Information (RFI) Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS), which manages and operates portions of the Savannah River Site (SRS) under a Department of Energy (DOE) prime contract, solicits expressions of interest from potential suppliers who have a background in design, fabrication, installation of Perimeter Entry Control Facility (ECF). The ECF scope Summary - Provide labor, material and services required for the design, fabrication, inspection, testing, documentation, delivery, and installation with the following requirements. The Perimeter Entry Control Facility requirements are as below: The ECF structure is a 24’x36’x9’ (eave height) hardened modular building to meet UL 752 Level 8 Standard for Bullet Resisting Equipment. Modular building will be constructed on a steel frame skid and mounted to a concrete slab foundation (SRNS provided). Interior will have a new office for security personnel, two new x-ray machines (SRNS provided), two new metal detectors (SRNS provided) and three new electronically controlled uni-directional turnstiles (SRNS provided). The vendor will include with the building the following building systems: 5 tons, 60,000 BTU of heating, ventilation and air conditioning 480V, 3-phase fused disconnect Wiring and speaker for the site Public Address system Communication box or board to connect to site tie in point Access point (two points for two separate paths) for security system Power for owner supplied and installed security panels Fire detection and alarm systems and fire extinguishers A supplier's response to the RFI does not guarantee they will be selected to participate in the RFP. Suppliers responding to this RFI shall include evidence of the following: 1. Past performance for design, fabrication, install 2. Scheduling competency 3. Qualifications statement for meeting UL 752 Level 8 4. Lead time (design & fabrication) 5. Typical budgetary estimate 6.
