SSRL B116 & B132 BPM HVAC Replacement

This is a sources sought notice for a subcontract to fully replace the HVAC systems in the Beam Position Monitor rooms within Buildings 116 and 132 at SLAC. The primary construction must occur during a scheduled shutdown from July 21, 2026, through August 31, 2026, with the system required to be operational by September 2026. If necessary due to equipment delays, the work may be phased to continue into a Summer 2027 shutdown. This is not a request for bids; interested vendors must submit a capabilities statement to the specified point of contact. No budget information is provided in this notice.

SSRL B116 & B132 BPM HVAC Replacement

Notice ID:SLAC_RFP_363431

This subcontract requires the complete removal and replacement of the HVAC systems for the Beam Position Monitor rooms in Buildings 116 and 132 at SLAC. The primary construction must occur during a specified summer shutdown from July 21, 2026, through October 1, 2026, with the system required to be operational by September 19, 2026. If necessary, work may extend into the Summer 2027 shutdown. The scope of work is currently being revised, and a site walk has been postponed with no confirmed date.
