SLAC seeks vendors that can provide a dry dilution refrigerator. SLAC will use this dilution refrigerator (DR) system for testing and operation of superconducting sensors and readout for Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) cameras. CMB cameras requre cryogenic refrigeration and are routinely operated in high-altitude (10,000 ft+) deserts such as the Chilean Andes or South Pole Station in Antarctica for 3-5 years with minimal human intervention.
