The University anticipates the award of a firm fixed price subcontract on the basis of the Best Value Trade-Off proposal with a subcontractor to purchase two (2) ruled 1500 lines-per-mm VLS grating optic as described in the LCLS L2SI Engineering Specifications Document L2SI-ES-0231, “qRIXS Spectrometer Grating Ruling Specification” and detailed drawing LCL5006-007483. Competitive proposals will be sought to select the Best Value Trade-Off proposal. If interested, please submit a firm-fixed-price proposal in accordance with the attached RFP proposal preparation requirements and other applicable provided documents. Your proposal must be received no later than FRIDAY, January 22, 2021 at 4:00 PM Pacific, and be valid for 90 days after submission.
