TITLE: SLAC CRMF SRF Cleanroom and UPW Design Services Sources Sought Notification DESCRIPTION This is a Sources Sought Notice to identify Architectural and Engineering (A&E) firms to provide professional services for the CRMF Cleanroom Design Project. This is not a solicitation for proposal or quotations and no award will be made from this Notice. Instead, the purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify interested vendors for the upcoming formal solicitation, tentatively planned to be released in Fall 2025. The purpose of the CRMF Cleanroom Design Project is to provide a detailed design of a clean room (ISO 4) and an Ultra-Pure Water system that will be located inside a new building at SLAC known as Cryomodule Repair and Maintenance Facility (CRMF). Design package: Prepare a drawing package that can be used to solicit contractor bids to have the cleanroom and UPW system constructed. BACKGROUND The purpose of the CRMF Cleanroom Design Project is to provide a detailed design of a clean room (ISO 4) and an Ultra-Pure Water system that will be located inside a new building at SLAC known as Cryomodule Repair and Maintenance Facility (CRMF). PLANNED SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES SLAC is seeking the services of a qualified Architectural & Engineering (A&E) design firm to complete the scope in the attached Statement of Work (SOW), which includes developing and providing a final design package, Issued for Construction (IFC) set of drawings and specifications, as well as construction cost and schedule estimates. The attached SOW includes the following base and optional scopes: Base Scope – CRMF SRF Cleanroom and UPW System Design Optional Scope 1 – Construction Support Services The draft SOW, draft Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and relevant references are provided. These draft documents provided are subject to change. SLAC intends to issue a formal solicitation with final documents later based on responses from this Source Sought Notice. SOURCES SOUGHT RESPONSE Interested A&E firms with the skills and capability to complete the above scopes are invited to submit a written response to this Sources Sought Notice. Please provide the following information: Provide firm’s name, year of establishment, ownership type (private, public, etc.). Provide firm’s local office location within in the 10 bay area counties (Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, San Francisco County, Alameda County, Contra Costa County, Marin County, Napa County, Sonoma County, Solano County or Santa Cruz County). Include the local office address, main phone number and main email. Include the firm’s DUNS number (DUNS number must be location specific). Provide primary Point-Of-Contact name, title, phone number (direct and mobile), email address. Provide a two-page capability statement presenting firm’s services and a list of past project experience on electrical designs completed for a public agency located within the State of California.
