SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory has Request for Quote 331057 for the following: Required item(s) listed below Low Noise Factory cryogenic amplifiers, which is the main cost in this requisition. Four 1-15 GHz, warm amplifiers with 0.7 dB noise figure and 37db of gain, single voltage bias Two 6-20 GHz cryogenic (4K) amplifiers with 4.7K noise temperature and 38dB of gain Two 4-8 GHz cryogenic (4K) amplifiers with 1.5K noise temperature and 42 dB of gain Cryogenic amplifier, the requirements would be: 6-20 GHz, <5K noise temperature, >35 dB of gain, demonstrated track record of reliability, able to be operated at 4K with <10 mW of bias power 4-8 GHz, <2K noise temperature, >40 dB of gain, demonstrated track record of reliability, able to be operated at 4K with <10 mW of bias power Warm amplifiers: 1-15 GHz with <70K noise temperature, >35 dB of gain, single 5-6V bias operating at 300K Quote is for product only; no on-site services permitted.
