SLAC seeks vendors that can provide the following: Three high-density variable-line-space gratings for use as X-ray optics at the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) in the soft x-ray NEH 2.X beamlines. The gratings will be used as key components in the NEH 2.X monochromator. The gratings will utilize the high brilliance of LCLS to deliver unprecedented pure x-rays for user experiments.
