UChicago Argonne, LLC (“Argonne” or “Laboratory”) operator of Argonne National Laboratory under Prime Contract No. DE-AC02-06CH11357 with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), has a requirement to provide general construction services at Argonne facilities as described in this solicitation. With this RFP, you are invited to furnish a fixed priced proposal in accordance with the solicitation requirements provided herein. It should be noted that these required construction services may be procured utilizing the proposed BPA or through separate procurement or other means. It is the Laboratory’s intent to award two (2) BPAs which would provide for the issuance of individual firm fixed price Task Orders (TO). TOs may be rotated between or competed amongst the BPA holders. The successful Contractor(s) shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, qualified supervision, and all other incidentals necessary to perform General Contractor services. Individual firm fixed price TO are not expected to exceed $250,000.00 unless approved by Procurement. BPA duration shall be for a one (1) year base period with one (1) one-year option. Based on historical data, the Laboratory may issue approximately seventy-five (75) TOs per year with a potential aggregate value in the range of Five-Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) to Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) per BPA. This estimate is provided for planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment on the Laboratory’s part. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the successful Offeror(s) is not guaranteed any minimum dollar amount per year under this agreement.
